My name is Sissy. I am a mature, Alaskan Malamute
female. I have impeccable manners. I am so sweet
and loving to everyone, of all ages. I am also very
quiet, and I get along with well-mannered dogs. If they
are not well-mannered, I will teach them to behave. I
don't eat a lot, or steal from the garbage or tables. I
know some simple commands such as sit, down and
come. I am very healthy and have no intestinal
parasites or heart worms.
In spite of being so good and healthy, my owners
dumped me in a high-kill shelter and I just barely made
it out of there. I don't know what I did to displease
them. Maybe it had something to do with that terrible
hurricane that left so many things unsettled.
I need a new home of my own that is not so busy. It is
nice here, but I don't like all those other dogs who fuss
at me. I don't mind spending some time in the yard,
especially if someone will come out and play with me.
Won't you please be my forever home? I will make you
a loving and faithful forever companion.
