Noah was rescued by Noah's Wish in Slidell.   He was
apparently caught in the storm surge of Lake
Pontchartrain and had an injured eye. He was shaved
when first rescued because his coat was matted and full
of oil, mud, and debris.
He was heart worm positive, but
otherwise reasonably healthy.  After nine months of the
soft treatment, he is heart worm negative.   He is a big,
happy, and talkative boy.   He is a sable with a soft coat,
and has face markings similar to Kearsarge of Yukon.
His behavior is very typical of Alaskan Malamutes, and
has a deep "arrrroooooo."

Noah is a mature dog of undetermined age.   He has given
his heart to his foster, and will be placed only to someone
with whom he shows a strong affinity .
