Bubba was purchased in Alaska as a puppy, and brought to Baton
Rouge to serve for breeding purposes. He was kept in a pen and
received very little human attention for two years. He was rescued in
August of '09 at the age of 2 1/2 yrs. old. Bubba is of giant Alaskan
Malamute stock and is very large. He currently weighs 115 lbs., and
should gain another 10 to 15 lbs. He is very friendly and affectionate,
and loves human attention. Sometimes he pretends he is "bad" but
he is just a big bluffer. He gets along well with females, if they are
not too pushy. Bubba is use to having canine company, so he would
do best in a home with a female dog. He is currently learning house
manners and learning to adjust to a crate. He would make an
awesome pet for a family with older children. Bubba is very strong
and well built and probably would make a good weight-pulling or
cart-hauling dog.
