Ally was found as a stray in a rural area.
It was obvious that she had been on her
own for a very long time. She was just a
sack of bones with her ribs and hip
bones showing through her thick coat.
She was very shy and submissive,
suggesting that she had been abused.
After a few weeks at LAMP, she is
gaining weight and her personality is
emerging. She is loving, affectionate,
friendly and forward. She will get along
with a male dog if introduced properly,
but probably would not get along with
another female. She is not
recommended to be around cats. She
would not be placed in a home with
small children simply because of her
size. She has demonstrated absolutely
no people aggression. Ally is a very
heavy heartworm positive and is on the
"soft" treatment. She will make a great
companion for a family.
